The Countdown
Regardless of the time coding on this very blog, it in fact will be Christmas in a mere nine minutes. I, for one, am very excited for this long-awaited day to finally be here! Oh, only eight minutes now! Waiting... Wow... only 6 minutes left! While I update you on the minute, I'm being entertained by my sisters and Dave playing an enthralling game called "Pass." My mom is pretty much passed out on the couch. I wish I could share an actual pictoral of this moment with all of you, but alas we have no bananas... er, I mean, Cameras today!!! <---- Parrot noise...
So anyways, there are only 4 more minutes until Christmas is finally upon us after all this deliberation and celebration and... um... singing. But the waiting has all been worth it because it gives us the opportunity to truly think about what this time means for us. I went to my grandma's house tonight where she made us suffer through a half-hour of the living scriptures, or whatever it's called, that's made for 5 year olds. But in spite of this fact, I truly was touched, and I was able to remember the true meaning of Christmas. It's not about the iPod that's under the tree, it's about my family and friends and Savior.
Now that there is one minute left until Christmas is here, I would like to thank you all for your friendship through this past year and every year. I love you all, and I would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas!!
It is now 12:00 am on December 25, 2005. As Harry Potter would say, Happy Christmas!!

Even though there's no snow, it's still Christmas. So have a merry one!
PS Sorry for not delivering your present yesterday, you have my assurance that you'll get it tomorrow and it'll be worth the wait.
PPS Thanks for the reminder on the parrot noise, I pretty much forgot that one. ;)

I must admit, I love to go British myself with the "Happy" Christmas thing.
