Meet Scott

Okay, so I guess the cat's out of the bag: I have a boyfriend... sort of. Anyways, I'll tell you the basics:

  • His name is Scott Wood
  • He is 6'4''
  • He works with me at Best Buy!
  • He is LDS
  • He has brown hair and hazel eyes
  • He wants to be a doctor/medical assistant
  • He graduated from Riverton High School in '03
  • He is a really good kisser :)

So, yeah. I guess that should give you a general idea of who he is. We've been going out for about a week and a half now, but (*said in a Kip Dynamite-kind-of-way*) I guess you could say things are getting pretty serious. But then again not. We've decided to still see eachother, but we're not making any sort of serious committment right now. The thought still kind of scares me. So there it is: I have a boyfriend... sort of.

Anyways, on to my crazier story of the week. So yesterday Scott and I decided we'd go for a little afternoon hike before I had work at 4. We headed up Big Cottonwood Canyon to hike to Donut Falls, which in my opinion, is the best hike ever. It's easy, mostly shady, not too far, and definitely has a big watery payoff at the end. It's crazy how some things just don't work out. You've probably already figured it out, but we kind of got lost. We ended up on this really steep trail, but we just wanted to make it to the falls so bad that I kind of pushed myself a little too hard. Scott ran ahead to see if the path lead anywhere while I took a "breather" as I sat on a rock. Suddenly my vision went all blurry and I knew I was going to be sick. Scott came back and let me lean on him while I fished some M&M's out of my bag to see if the sugar would help me.

The next thing I knew, I was on the ground, covered in dirt and blood. Scott was trying to get me to lay on the ground while attempting to clean me up with his towel that was intended for a post-waterfall experience rather than me splitting my head open. The M&M's were scattered all over the hill and I was shaking like none other. If it hadn't been for Scott... well, I would have been helpless. As we walked/he carried me down the mountain, he was really good at keeping me out of shock. He kept talking to me and asking me questions. We went to an IHC instacare where they promptly stapled my head shut. The best part: Scott stayed with me the entire time.

So the date didn't go exactly as planned, but it was okay. I found out I had a Knight in Shining Armor who would take care of me no matter what. And my friends Jessica and Michelle even made it over later that evening just to make sure I was still alive (and also to assess Scott, I'm assuming... lol). So even though yesterday could have been one of the worst days ever, I really had a good time.

Meet My New Boyfriend.

Okay, so now that I have your attention, would you kindly redirect it in the general direction of Strong Bad's house... er, I mean... Jessica's newest blog. It's pretty cool. It's got all the features you'd ever want in a cool blog... like, air conditioning, no central plot, randomness, Smith's Marketplace, no pictures whatsoever so you can utilize your wondrously dormant imagination stations, and also mentions of ummm... stuff like... pizza, your mom, and alligators, and unknown names of Brooke's latest Gentleman Callers... you know, all the good stuff at it's finest. So you should probably get your butt over there. Or at least your internet browser.

Other news, Did you know that goldfish have a memory span of just 2 seconds? Did you know that Brooke is a close second with a memory span of 2.1? And Jess lasts just a BIT longer with 4.81908638w94639. Yes, "w" is a numerical value in the Outrajess Scale of Icelandia. It's highly technical. Even your mom wouldn't understand. Why don't you go ask her about it. I would suggest it, but you never know.

Anyways, that's all. Stay tuned for more information about my Gentleman Caller named... well, I'll let you know later. Oh, and what colors should I pick for my wedding? I'll take all reasonable suggestions including bright pink and charcoal and coral and muave and possibly even sunset. Whatever. Oh, and RSVP ASAP. My wedding should be in like... 2 weeks. Yeayah!
